This is a space for volunteers, those curious about Jennie's campaign, and supporters to come together and get to know each other better. This is not a canvass and there will be zero door-knocking. Championing the streetcar revitalization plan to speed up our ward’s streetcar lines, the 506 Carlton, 501 Queen, and 503 Kingston.
Working to expand city programming for residents at all ages and stages for example: swimming lessons, summer camps, library programming, seniors programming, and adaptive programs for children with disabilities
Tenant protections – addressing slumlords and ensuring safe, well maintained homes; protecting tenants from renoviction.
Supporting a more robust approach to building public housing in Toronto through the Toronto builds policy framework and non-profit and cooperative housing providers.
Public space for the public good.
A councillor that is invested in coordinating regular maintenance and state of good repair work throughout the ward, finding opportunities to streamline construction work so roads, sidewalks, and transit are minimally disrupted, where possible.
Building off of the Parks & Recreation facilities masterplan to coordinate improvements in Ward 19 that benefit individuals and families of all ages.
Finding opportunities for more meaningful community engagement and involvement in development decisions made in our ward.
Ensuring our beautiful beaches and ravines remain clean, safe, and accessible to all who live here.
